Well today, I finished school at 9:00 so i had plenty time to work on my car. I tried to install the indiglo gauges I bought used, and after 3 hours, they didn't work. Sigh, so instead, I'm just going back to my stock gauges and just change the back light of the gauge cluster. Does anyone know what bulb that is and what watt / volt they take. I'm talking about the stock green ones. Thanks. Sigh wasted time

The stock bulbs are M4. They are the same as parkers and your number plate lights.

i've done this operation a bunch of times.
Coomer's howto on it is great.

the 194 matrix LEDs are the best to use for light dispersion
at autolumination.com:
they cost 7usd. last time i ordered some they hung out side-ways too much to install easily.

they're only 2.50usd at superbrightleds.com, but in the past 6 months i've had 2 of them burn frown.gif . it's my understading that LEDs will only burn if you overvoltage them, so it seems like the superbrightleds.com LEDs might have lower quality resistors.

i've got some on order from autolumination.com, i intend to file the side-ways LEDs down a little in hopes that they will fit better. I'll post something about this later on after i've recieved the LEDs and had time to go for an install (want it to be warm outside).

later
