Today we installed my new actuator and can now boost as low as 11psi with the EBC off. The GT28RS still spins the tires all the way through first and most of second at 11psi but the car doesn't feel "reckless" anymore.

The mid muffler that we bought was too big so I am going to order a different one. Today we installed a silencer in the tail pipe and now I can hear my radio again. Interestingly enough, I felt no difference in power with the silencer in but I am sure I lost 5-10whp.

The GReddy BOV is installed but the recirculation kit has to wait due to the fact that the elbo in my intake tract is made of cast aluminum and Carl didn't have any material to make a flange.

Hopefully, the exhaust and BOV will be completed in March.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

It was at 15psi with no boost control! Its the nature of the stock actuator which comes with the gt28rs. My new spring allows me to boost as low as 11psi. If I turn the boost controller on, I can go as high as I want (not over 17psi on pump fuel).

glad you got it all figured out. i knew it was just a matter of a little tweaking to get things perfect!

you should buy one of jeffs camera mounts to make vids at different boost settings. make sure to tape the ouside of the car too... so we can see what it really looks like!

If 17psi is your ceiling with pump gas, what kind of psi could you run on race gas? Is it a significant amount? You could add a fuel cell with a second fuel pump so you can switch between pump gas and race gas, for track days, dyno days and such.

I am on the stock ECU so I am maxed out at ~270whp anyway. Modifications beyond my current level would be expensive and, in all candor, pointless for my application.
