eh, they're not great, but they've been around awhile so I cnat say they suck. I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo its, ok. It has a few problems but I've had the car going on 50,000 in 2 years with really no down time at all.

I had an Impulse with 200k on it. Great little cars. I fell in love with them. I would buy one with 30k on it in a heartbeat. But that's just me. You can't build it to be super powerful, but the old turbo rwd Impulses can be built to be fast. You'd have a very quick street sleeper with that thing. No one will ever know what it is, that's for sure.

I really like the Rodeo Sports, compared to the Rav4 coupe and Susuki Sidekick....

But nothing's gonna stop me from dumping my baby Celica ;-)

if ur gonna get that impulse..or ur thinkin about gettin it..check the floor boards under the drivers pedals on the driver's side, in the hatch, in the floor behind the passanger seat and under the hood. I was gonna buy a 91 impulse non turbo for my first car but the floors where rotted in thouse places. The guy who bought it has like 4 of them..he said the floors rust out in thouse spots most commonly. He said they are nice quick cars..but i saw him at the track with his "HP monster" turbo impluse and he was runnin like 18's..lol

They're probably pretty good, considering that anything even remotely reliable or well-engineered GM has offered is usually "borrowed" technology from Isuzu (kinda like how Ford whores Mazda).

Funny, my friend has a 98 Amigo... kinda like a cross between a tracker and a jeep.... he took it to the GM dealership in town and they told him "Sorry, we don't work on foreign cars."

Dumbasses.

The 91's are different from the the late 80's ones. 18's is horrable for those cars. I had one, and I ran high 14's. It was stripped and worked over, but it was fast. It couldn't have done that in street trim, but it was still fast.
