Ha guys just drove my 94 celica with the new centerforce clutch I installed. Well the clutch pedal doesn't disengage the clutch until the pedal is almost on the floor! So how do I adjust this?
-I see there is a threaded rod on the clutch pedal that I will lengthen but there is only a 1/4" left to lengthen the rod so I don't believe I'll gain much here! -I'll try bleeding the line even though it was never opened... -ANy other ideas???? -I am thinking of wellding a little extra metal onto the pushrod that is at the clutch end to get more length to work with....Is this called the master cylinder can't remeber the tech. term.... *I'll do this last if others don't help...... |

didnt your centerforce clutch come with a adjustment sheet. i just got my clutch done about 2 weeks ago, and there was a sheet in there for adjustments. Maybe you can call canterforce, and ask them to send you that sheet.

Thanks guys I have that sheet and will look into it tomorrow. First thing I will do is bleed the system. However,
-were do you get a longer pushrod from as this is so far off I am sure I will need one. -Can you tell me how much longer this different push rod is? Or know someone who could tell me the length of one of the longer ones so I can compare with what I have??? Thanks..... |

THanks for all the help guys I was able to screw the rod out on the clutch pedal to make it longer. I only had 1/4" to work with but that gave me a few inches more to use on the clutch pedal. So it looks like the clutch job was a success!!!!!
