i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I remember people saying this couldnt be done.
Here you are to prove them wrong.
I wish I could see this thing in person.
I hope you could write up a more detailed how-to for this conversion.

Nice job man.
How's it do at highway speeds?
What's with the rigged rear sway bars? It doesn't look quite right. It almost looks like it's a single bar straight across connected to the shocks with custom end links. But that can't be right, otherwise you'd have virtualy no rear suspension travel.

yes it is an aftermarket sway bar. and yes it is straight. i needed to buy one like that because, the way we put in the rear end, left us no room fot the GT4 sway bar. how it works is: it is attached to the rear end with bushings. the links are what lets the suspension travel (which had to be modified to fit correctly.) when cornering, the sway bar is meant to actually twist, which holds everything together and allows for slightly better handling.

the travel is perfect for the rear suspension.

Oh ok. I thought the machined piece that connects to the bar was bolted directly to the strut. Now I see that the machined piece is actually part of the sway bar and connects to the end link... not as rigged as I thought it was. Good job on the custom fab work it all looks pretty good.
