Well theres this lady who has a Red Celica Convertible like mine (except mine is better of course tongue.gif ) and she always parks at my school. I talked to her and she said her car has been hit 3 times and stolen 4 times. This is a school with cameras and police there all the time. Should I be worried? LOL

(its because im getting a aprking permit to park at my school for next year)

I feel pretty safe taking mine with me, but use an alarm that has a sensor if its toched. Even though the horn honking can't actually do anything, it deters most people. Even getting a blinking LED on the dash that looks like an alarm can help. My bro's car and mine were parked in a lot on the beach a month or two ago. I use an alarm, and it has stickers saying that. My bro's got broken into that night, and had all his CD's jacked frown.gif , but they left my car alone. Alarms help.

I know Crutchfield has them. Some radios come with them, but just check with companies that do audio and electrical stuff.

I dono, my school is pretty safe but people got a tendancy to hit other peoples cars on the lot. But ive had no problems. Just avoid people opening their doors into your car, and if they do, give em hell.

nice car in school. few gaurantees:

1. Someone will accidently scratch/bump/ding your car while parked next to it (sorry to say but teenagers arent the best drivers).

2. Someone hates you and will purposely scratch vandelize your car.

why do i say this: too many post of these same shenanigans happening with members, also I have i know several people who are teachers and they never take their nice cars to work.

get a $1000 car and use it as a commuter.

Most stolen car in America: Honda Accord. Parking next to a nicer car won't help. I would say, leave your baby at home unless your willing to pay $1000 to fix the **** it goes through. I've seen at least 4 accidents in 4 months at my school. And that's just me, I'm not in the parking lot everyday.

Edit: That place is bad man, I wouldn't bring my car there and park it for 5 minutes, let alone a whole school day rolleyes.gif

why not? the only reason the accords are the most stolen cars is because their parts are so easy to sell...not because they're nice cars rolleyes.gif

i dont see why u are soo worried about ur celica. its just another red convertible. there are a million other cars people would target over ur plain stock celica. i think some people care too damn much about this kinda stuff. its just a FUGGIN CAR. thats all it is.

Listen, nobody is going to steal your car outta the parking lot. And people don't always steal the most expensive car, it would be extremely foolish to think you'd be safe if you parked next to an M5. I know this, but I wouldn't be surprised if it got dinged up or crashed into. Highschool drivers suck.

Lately I've been very scared about my car, and I wouldn't have driven my car if it was possible. I found out my ex wants her boyfriend to key my car, so I'm worried about that. Also, I think lots of people at my school are jealous of my car or don't like imports. Chances are they figure that I'm another rich kid who had my parents buy me my car and everything on it, but I've paid for every dime of my car and everything on it.

If I were you, I'd try to find another car to drive to school. Mine routinely gets spit on, hit by other cars' doors, gets garbage thrown on it, etc. I don't get it, because I don't have any enemies at school and I try to be nice to everyone. frown.gif

But yesterday was my last day of high school ever! biggrin.gif
