Well, I have some hornet alarm in my car right now but this summer I want to upgrade to Hornet 564T which is just amazing. Its 2-way(Pager + screen (beep&vibrate) uses AAA batter which is good cuz i dont want to spend much on batteries), remote start (can be programmed to activate at certain time of th day smile.gif), 1/4 mile reciving distance, and all the cool stuff like that. So basicly its like 2-way Viper but way cheaper cuz Python/Viper/Hornet is the same company. I found this alarm online for $170 which I think is pretty good and I dont feel like paying $100 for the install. So back to my question, how hard is it to install?
Thank you

Very very easy. Order the alarm, go out to your car and label all the wires. It's a sinch to hook it up then.

Very simple. If you plan on doing it yourself, let me know and I can get you the correct diagram for you car for the cables so you wont make any mistakes if you do.

I recommend you have a general idea of what to do and how to test them with the meter and what not though.

I think you can find cheaper ones, but if you are looking for name brands like Viper, etc.. I think that's a good deal, not sure smile.gif

or do what i did and check underneith your drivers seat and if there is a harness not plugged into anything, then go to the dealer and buy the alarm, plug it in and BAM. you have an alarm you cant turn off till you buy a key fob on ebay for 20 bucks plush shipping. woo but i dont think this approach will work for everyone. tongue.gif

took my dad and I about 12 hours to install my viper one.. Most of the time was trying to find wires that we had to tap into and hiding the wires. I def recommend using the wiring diagrams that can be found on this site.
