 GT-FOUR spoiler blocks, what most people think of it? |

Too big for my taste, plus we dont have GT-Fours, so i'd shave that.

I know you guys showed pics, but does anyone have like a side profile of the shorter blocks??? Im just curious how it flows, and its hard to see it from the back angles. ill probably be pmin you [doggy] in a few weeks.

i like em! just put the older spoiler on my car with the GT-four blocks, gonna do the hood, bumber and engine too.

extra big spoiler (any one) on front-wheel drive car looks IN MY HUMBLE OPINION stupid...
(spoiler trust function for NON back-wheel drive has no sense, is just in addition weight) -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

Oh my its a FWD Dunno, but in real life it looks atleast 5x better when in pics... You can have the biggest wing in the universe on your RWD car, and it'll do precious little until 60+mph. It needs airflow. Trust me, at 60mph, the Four does not have a traction problem. It doesn't have one at 0mph either. What the wing does is add weight via downforce at speed to keep the back end planted for the fast sweepers, which a fwd car can benefit from. Not as much as a RWD car - simply because it needs less grip from the rear tyres as it's not trying to apply power through them. It is, effectively, only dealing with an imbalance on a single axis (unless the driver is on the brakes). I don't particually like aerodynamics on road cars for a very simply reason. If I lose the back of a car with a big wing, the wing stops working (no airflow over it when sideways). If I've lost the back because I've exceeded grip on the back axle, as she rotates around the downforce stops, and I've even less grip to try to regain control. It's not nice. I'm simply not good enough to deal with that, so I choose to run with a spoiler to prvent rear end lift, but not actively add downforce. -------------------- JDM ST205
