I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

sounds like a cool girl you got there. i bet that was interesting lol. ive found out that even as hard as it looks, its still much harder to do and make it fluid. its definitly very fun and challenging, but trying to convince people its fun is another story tongue.gif id imagine it might have a better following in canada? because here it the states its hardly known at all.

yea..it is a little easier to get the word out about it here..its been in the news, on tv, in the papers, magazines a few times over the last 2 or 3 years. We actually have a comercial for a cell phone provider advertising MP3 phones and it has members of PKTO.ca and Leparkour.ca in it. It was filmed over in London. But yea, its a growing sport here. I went to a training session today with one of the best guys in Toronto. There were about 10 ppl who came in total and a film crew from Ryerson University doing a documentory on the sport. But yea. Fun day. Only got 1 nice cut on my forarm from clippin a fence. But its not as hard as you would think if you have some upper body strength, you have the proper type of shoes, confidence and the right way of training. Like today for instance, i learned the proper way to do side vaults, lazy vaults, monkey vaults, 360 vaules, revert vaults. It was pretty easy, hard on the body, but easy enough to do.

wait- is this the thing where the guys just run and flip over everything and jump high walls and jump off high ledges and break their fall by doing somersaults?

cause if it is that stuff is awesome and if i were more agile (re: physically fit) id give it a try

^ exactly it. Im not the most fit guy in the world. I BMX, but missed last season due to whiplash so im a bit out of shape and i had no problem doing it. Its a rediculusly good workout though. I was out for maybe 4 or 5 hours yesterday, and today i can barely walk.

see..you dont understand the sport untill you understand the concept of it. Its just like probably 30 years ago, if you saw a grown man, riding a littel kids bike and going off jumps you would give them crazy looks and a few laughs, but now a days, its BMX and its common. The whole idea of the sport is to create a way of gettin away from some one, using every thing and any thing to help you. Like most people, if they saw say, a waiste high ledge to a 10 foot drop, and a set of stairs beside it. 95% of the people would take the stairs..the other people would jump or vault over the wall. Go to parkour.net if you wanna get a better understanding of the sport.

thats for sure. im a distance runner and have raced 10k and half-marathons (doing my first marathon finally this may biggrin.gif) but freerunning is intense. it uses your whole body and you will find that out the day afterwards when youre aching everywhere laugh.gif . it reminds me of martial arts, only youre running too.
