anyone with a carbon fiber hood with vents. i wanna know what do you guys do when it rains? does the hood come with brackets to block the vents from rain? thanks

haha. on my car it did come with a rain gaurd piece. but i didnt really let much heat leave the bay at all. so i took it out and now u can see the heat pour out at a stop.
but when it rains i either park in a garage, or i throw a plastic bag over the vents lol.

zcone version has a piece you can put on if you want or remove it, they use push in plastic screw thingys

i have the vis zyclone hood and the big port in the front/middle, has a panel over it. and the other 2 on the left and right water would not get on the engine ne way.

I am gonna get Zyclone too... but I was thinking most said that rain does get in it but it doesn't matter cuz it lands on the exhaust and is immediatly evaporated..

I have a VIS "Vader" hood, I dont bother doing anything when it rains its not gana hurt it if a little water hits the motor, it does not cause any more water to hit the moter then normal.

i dont know about the carbon fiber ones, but i can tell you that the vent on the gt four hood causes no problems at all in the rain or snow.

Same here. They're nice hoods and you done't have to worry about water on ours.

soon new custom pistons being sent out on hte 19th so probably end of this month just in time for nice weather new tires and finish the exterior
