Finally got my TRD Quickshifter after looking and looking. Installation was pretty easy, took just a bit less than an hour. I love it! Such short nice shifts and doesn't look too stubby and retarded like the TWM. Now for a cooler shift knob hehe

No pics yet, I should be getting my new digi cam in a couple days so I'll throw some pics up then. There's a few brand new ones on ebay with the TRD knob and all for about $180 shipped. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

When I installed my Quickshifter I was amazed by how nice the throws were, but after having it for a while I don't feel any difference because it is what I'm used to. The only thing I can still feel is how close the knob is to the E-Brake handle. If I don't drive my car for a while then get back in I get the same feeling all over. You got a pretty damn good deal, but I got mine 100 Shipped My install took a little over an hour, mainly because I lost the clip that holds the side assembely together.

I installed mine when I only had about half an hour before work, needless to say, I finished up but I forgot to install the brushings and there were a couple of gears I couldn't shift into on the drive to work,.. lol

Just got my shifter today. Here are pics of it in case anyone's curious. I thought it would include the leather thingy... but guess not. The knob is very solid... overall everything is extreme quality as you would expect from TRD.

QUOTE Where did you get that short shifter for 100 shipped? I got it off another member, minus the knob. I didn't care because I want to get a weighted knob. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

You can see the proper shift pattern on the top of the knob......how do you figure its not correct?

QUOTE You can see the proper shift pattern on the top of the knob......how do you figure its not correct? He has the knob turned 180 degrees from where it should be. Think logical. The shifter has to be close to you, so would the shifter be in the back of the assembely, or in the front? This isn't an "I think" situation. I am telling you, like juBz, that it is on backwards. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
