Does anyone know the part numbers for the bigger brakes that have "Celica" embossed on them. Im pretty sure they came on 6th gen GT-4's. Are they available from dealerships, etc? Also, can you swap the normal calipers for those?

the gt4 brakes are much large, you would need to do a complete swap suspension swap (if im not mistaken) to get the gt4 brakes and calipers to fit.

They arent bolt on for the MacPherson suspension you need the SuperStrut suspension. Your SOL.

As above, these brakes (pictured here on my car biggrin.gif ) aren't a straightforward 'bolt on' job to the other 6GCs.

Nope. The Tein SS coilovers just replace the strut and spring in the Macpherson suspension setup. It's still a Macpherson setup with Tein SS coilovers.

I've said before... although these calipers are nice...
4 pots can be found on trucks times thrice.
Same as these, mods are required,
brackets are needed, from the hubs to sit higher.
along with a rotor that can fit the pot's ire.

For the time, money, and work, you're better off getting a big brake kit with 6 pot calipers and 13" rotors. Sure it's going to cost a bit more, especially since it's real hard to get someone to sell you the suspension off a gt4 without buying the entire front clip. but sticking with the mac suspension and having a big brake kit will give u better stopping power than the gt4 brakes, and probably look better anyway. or maybe im just talking ****. im at work bored. lol.

I have both the Caliper and the rotors of the GT4 (there not on my car yet). It just needs a 3mm spacer between hub and rotor. And a custom bracket is needed to extend the caliper outwards.
Another point since it wont fit all rims because the calipers are HUGE, even the word huge is an understatement smile.gif

So when i will get my new rims (hopefully within the next 2 weeks) me and someone i met from the Celica Club will put them on my car.

Those are nice indeed. From what I can tell they're for the Gen 7 Celi, but IIRC from what I've seen the front Gen 7 brakes are a direct swap on to the 6GC, making the Gen 7 Big Brake kit a bolt on also???
