I'd like to get my windows tinted next month... but PA Tint Laws say 70% tint. Am I reading something wrong? If it is really 70%, what do you think I can get away with?

What's your legal percentage and what do you have?

Everywhere I look, it seems as though 70% is the limit in PA.

I can't believe it is 15% in Florida, if I remember correctly it used to be 35%.

For texas its 20% on the back window and backseat windows...and its either 30 or 35 for the front seat side windows. but 70% is rediculous, almost not even worth it. Most people around here can get away with 20% on the fronts and like 5+ on the backs.

Front and side windows cant be tinted here in the Netherlands. Only back and rear window. But the cops are easy about it as long as it is a light% like 35$.

I'm not sure what the law is here, but I have 25% on all, and a 15-20% (can't remember off hand) strip on front window..

I think the legal tint here is 35%

The california one is probably similar to texas'. They share alot of laws about that kinda stuff. I think you could get away with 20% all the way around.

The tint law here used to be 20% all way around the front window can never be tinted here. But now its 35% on the passenger and drivers side windows and 20% on the back windows. My old car had 5% all around, and the town police didn't hassle me much, but the state troopers sure did. Got many tickets from it.

I wonder if the cops will care if I have 35% That's a decent tint that's not too dark. Any other PA people?
