very few people here seem to use spacers, but they are very common in the domestic and truck market.

i thought about getting some for my car, but always put it off. part of me, dosnt like the idea of a large spacer that has to bolt on to your existing lug nuts. but i have talked to a few people that have used them for years without problems.

if u buy them, only get H&R hubcentric spacers.

some spacers (like mine) come with longer lugs which is a better idea, IMO.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I have been using custom made spacer all around. front = 1.7 cm rear 0.7 cm. almost 2 year with no problem...

The key point for spacer is:

1. Center bore of your wheel and spacer must be perfectly match and sit tie. this will ensure that there will be "no shake" when driving..
2. You stud if necessary may need to be replaced with longer stud.

goodluck...

its all about the offset and the with of your rims.
if your offset is low you can use spacers to raise it. i am planning to use 5 mm spacers at rear so my rims will look like 8.5'' but i have 8''. To use 25 mm spacer is too much i think... what is your rims size and offset?

by offset you mean the tire width? if so its 7.5. They look too much like stock to me...infact i'd swear stock rims look wider than mine. which is why i want to use the spacers.....bring the tire out of the wheel well some more. But i think my problems also lies with the rim....i dont have deep dish. i notice alot of you guys who get that really aggrisve look im looking for have deep dish. You think that would help?

heres two pics of the rims...one from the side and the back....
