My 97 st has 148k. Got it w/109k. Belt was done by prev. ownr. What is the proper interval btwn. changes?
Is the motor what they call free wheeling so valves won't bend if the belt does go?
Thanks

i think the 7afe calls for a belt every 60K miles. im doing another one at 120K miles along with a new water pump and if i have the money a new O2 sensor.

The 7A is a non-interference engine, so it wont bend the valves.
