I HATE it when I see the sign "Chains Required. Auto Truck 4X4 Snow Tire OK, Carry Chain"

and then I'd start picturing a GT-Four speeding through the snowy road... damn why do we only get the ST and GT....

Those pictures dont do justice mat. It was way freakin worse then that. And i had to go to work!!! I walked in and my managaer was like "Start Closing" IM like wow that was worth my time! The road going up to my apartment is a slight incline and the road that i turn off of to get that slight incline is a major street in Lincoln.

So i turn off the major street to get to my apartment and im sliding, fish tailing, all over the place, untill i stop. IM stuck. Rocking it wont work casue its in incline. so i wait untill the light turns green behind me, and i back up across this huge ass major intersection!! I get a run at it going straight at it, except the light is red, so i will lose all momentom, so i start flahing my highs and lows, as im coming to the intersection, there were 3 cars coming, they all saw my driving like a maniac and flashing my lights, so they came to a dead stop even though their light was green! And i freakin barreled on though a red light to make it up the hill! Nuts i tell you.

HAHA. ya it was way worse while it was snowing, Today after it stopped the roads cleared fast. But yesterday/last night were the worst. Driving through the crap wasn't worth time. So i took my moms blazer and drove around, and stayed at my g/f's for the night.

Guy's i'll say it again, speeding in snow and GT 4's do not go together......

i've been driving for the last three month on snowy roads in my '4' and it's a night mare if there any other cars on the road, you have a heavy rear that want to kick out at the first sign if snow and ice.......

on empty roads smile.gif corners in a power slid are just great smile.gif

Thats what i should do!!
But i do not want to destroy my rims so i dont use chains in the snow! Driving in snow with a awd celica is a good practice for endless drifting when you are in an open area, but not recomended for road use.. laugh.gif laugh.gif

no offence man but that doesn't look like much snow. Up here we've had storms where the snow goes up over the door of the house.. and you have to climb out the top window of your house to get outside and shovel it.

you guys dont know how lucky you are lol. i hate snow!... unless im snowboarding biggrin.gif the first snow is fun but when it just stays cold and the roads are always either slick or slushy and salty for months it gets old quick.

you want to trade places? pleeeaaassee biggrin.gif

18" is a pretty nice snow, we only got about 6 inch here from this storm. had a snow like that last winter, and i had to go to work. not too many people go to restauraunts with over a foot of snow, dumb managers rolleyes.gif

most snow ive seen here was 3 years ago when we got over 3 feet here (i think 39" officially here), and we had drifts tall as me on our deck. i dont have a pic of it but 94gt got one.

IPB Image

but even 3 feet doesnt seem too much if you drive up in the mountains lol.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
