I had just got out of the shower, was in the process of shaving and my dogs start going nuts. I wasn't about to go out to the door in a towel with shaving cream all over my face, so I let them leave whatever it was at the door. When I went down and looked this is what I found...

Nifty huh? wink.gif

I called a local tuning shop and asked how much they would charge to install and they said 180. I asked if it included camber adjustment, and they said no, but they could if I bought a camber kit from them. I thought our cars had adjustable camber to begin with, why would I need to buy Their camber kit? And is 180 too much?

Now all that is left is to get rid of my S-Techs and some Fall Out Boy tickets and get some GR-2's and an intake bypass... *sigh* more money..

what brand are they, ground control? where did you get them and for how much? they look tempting.

you can sort of do a slight camber adjustment on our cars by loosening the top 2 strut bolts and pushing the wheel in or out, but its only about 1/2 a degree. to really do it right, you need the camber kit, or you can buy crash bolts from toyota that have a preset camber to them.

I have em on my car, you wont be disapointed.

congrats, and enjoy em there great.

also 180 for install sounds kinda cheap, I installed em myself since its pretty easy if you've done it before. I dont know about "there" camber kit but it would be good to get a kit and put it in so you dont were though your tires quick and it will give ya better grip.

Where did you go for a camber kit?

They are easy to install yourself. You will need a spring compressor which you can borrow for free
from checkers.

do not have a camber kit on mine, will probably get one aventualy but mine just was not that bad so I'm not worried about it.

I do have bad traction but for now I'm not worried about it, I'm too focused on other parts of it to get that done.

(yup its easy)

Those are nice... i was quoted 100 for springs and struts/shocks. so i guess your price seems a little high to me, but im not sure how much harder coilovers are....and your selling your used tiens for more then new ones on ebay cost? You probably have a better chance of selling those fall out boy tickets. . .

The Teins were brand new in box. and I did sell them already. also sold the tickets, so you need not worry.

^ it would be a good idea but you can go without it and not have a big problem.
