So, right now, im talking to Naders on msn, and we were talking about projectors. Hez thinking of gettin some, and so am i. Now, my questions are...
1. Do you have to?? Do they really aim to the right that much that it could cause a problem for other drivers?? 2. Do you have to modify both? or just one?? I was reading the How To article, but it didnt say. I was thinking you would only need to do the passanger side one because it would be the one that would blind the other drivers. 3. Were projectors only jdm? or were they offered in europe 2? |

lol, well the answer is yes, they are only JDM you do have to re-do them....Im not sure why, i think its cuz they are made for RHD...but dont quote me on that... but you would have to do both. and valo you were just explaining in OT why you wanted to sell your car, but now your keeping it? Im so confused.

Yes, they realy do (they shine more left-up than common lights) 2. Yes, both... 3. I have never seen extra 6gen celica projectors for Europe. Just those for Japan... p.s.: I had same questions few days ago. I have answers directly from Kadett ("How to article" writer...) Like malpaso said. We also have a very strickt yearly checkup, called APK (dutch for MOT). And they DO notice it Because the lights have to be adjusted with a device so it shines at the good height. -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!

To modifie my projectors - it took me ONE HOUR for both. There is nothing too hard to do this - really. Just what you need to be carefull not to touch the chrome housing cuz you will leave fingerprints what are imposible to clean (if you try cleaning - you will make it look 10X worse) and be carefull not to brake front glass - everything else is just piece of cake.

i'd leave 'em the way they are and avoid risking any damage or whatever.. unless you've got madd doggy-skillz of course.
i have JDM lights (not projectors, just regular) and even when they go crooked towards traffic i haven't had anyone flash me either... plus i haven't even adjusted them to go right also.. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

i understand that its not a really hard thing to do, i just prefer not to mess with 850$ lights for no good reason.

i found it embarrassing when it was really foggy and you can see the beams go into the fog crooked but other than that, who cares, what about those a$$holes with raised trucks and blind you. you gotta love the fact you have something rare and pricey.

Thats for both high and lows. Would be like 500-550 for the Projectors alone. Still alot of money to be messing with if its not necessary. But I dont think I had done it if I lived in the US.
