Hi Hi everybody.
My question is: Can I drop down engine 5sfe from celica 99 . Is it possible at all. Don’t have anything to pick it up. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks |

It's actually easier to drop it for me but you'll still need to support it with a jack and then you'll need an engine hoist or 3-4 very strong friends to lift the car up and overr the engine.

This is how they take engines out at work (toyota dealership). Instead of dealing with a cherry picker, they just unbolt the cross member and motor mounts and drop the motor, trans, axles, hubs and shocks as one thing. It makes things easier in a shop environment when you have a lift to use. But at home it would probably be pretty tricky when reinstalling everything back into the car with just a floor jack or two.

It sounds good for me because I am parting it out I mean just one way no reinstalling. All parts for sale. Thanks. Very helpfull information.
