This is my plan so far, i think ive perfected it, but time might be an issue, so im not guaranteeing itll be done by the end of the summer, and time is always a problem with us 6th geners. But i have some connections and ill be getting the painting done relatively cheap cuz family friends own a body shop and they paint. You shoulda seen their cars. One of them has a chevy blazer extreme, dropped to the ground, 17" chrome rims, shaved door handles, basic bodykit, ram air hood, but the paintjob is amazing: top of the car is like a reddish-maroon, a thin stripe of silver in the middle, and the bottom half of the car is black. now for the sweet part he has perfect flames starting from the front of the car and eventually dying out by the time they get to the rear, but they are chameleon! looks pretty sweet for an american truck, and he did it all himself. won first place at a car show in chicago few weeks ago in the truck category. his bro won first for his Grand Prix GTP(runs mid 12's) in the FWD category. so im not too worried about quality on this, they do quality work. im toying around with the idea of getting some sort of black graphics painted on the sides, just as accents, nothin big or ricey. but heres my tentative plan.

First of all when i get all this done im repainting it a brighter red, stock just doesnt do it for me.
Rims: 17" ADR Demonya's in black( possibly getting the silver part painted the same red as the car, red and black rims usually look pretty tight)
Dropped: Prolly 1.5"-2" havent decided dropzone or GC
Front: Booster tuning front bumper w/ procarparts clears( possibly painted w/ transparent red paint to blend in)
Sides: Varis Extremor sideskirts
Rear: Erebuni Shogun Rear bumper( gotta get something that isnt ridiculously expensive)
Taillights: painted w/ transparent red except for reverse lights, blends in with the car( the guy did it on his GTP it looks sweet)
Wing: Varis Extremor wide wing

After that i might get my sunroof redone to tilt up and slide back, i think that looks sweet as hell, but costs in the neighborhood of $800, might not have the funds left to go after that right away.

of course i want the JDM projectors and highs, but thats more of a finishing touch.

as u can see some of this stuff is JDM/Euro, so if anyone has connections or lives in Japan/Europe or anything, hook me up!

also ive heard that when u order something JDM, they have to make it( they dont keep stock) so if anyone could offer some time estimates on the JDM and/or European stuff i would appreciate it greatly. also any comments on the quality of those parts would be appreciated.
i know with this project ill prolly be the slave of time and money, but i got a few G's tucked away for it and i have from now til august next year to get all this **** done, even though im hoping to have it all done by september or october of this year. Cuz then i can get down to business on the engine, tryin to decide if its worth it to try the 5sfe's ability for turbo(is it possible to supercharge it?) or to just go 3sgte. if the 5sfe is bullet proofed i think it coud be done and maybe even push out some serious boost, but i gotta weigh those options, hell i might even just try that and screw the whole exterior style thing, but im thinkin that the exterior style is gonna come first or else it might not all get finished im one shot, with the engine u can do a little bit at a time and everything is still good. biggrin.gif
I know this will make the car look a bit extreme and i know that isnt the style of a lotta people here, but hey i guess im being different wink.gif i'm not into the whole "subtle" thing, even tho a lot of you do it and it always looks tight as hell. but hey to each his own.

Now any comments/ suggestions??

i think it sounds good....but it will take a lot of time. My friend just did his exterior on his prelude and it took him like 6 months and a butload of money....BUT he's kinda stupid when it comes to common sense. He bought everything at individually at different times but as soon as he got it, he put it on and painted it then rather than waiting for the rest of it to come in and paint it all at once. But anyways...if he wouldn't have had it in the shop so much, it probably would've cost him less time and money! tongue.gif

REMEMBER...its YOUR car so if you like your idea, who gives a sh** what anyone else thinks...they won't have to wake up to it every morning! wink.gif

mmm... carbon celi. wouldnt that be sweet to have a celi, or any car just matted with CF? no paint, just CF covering the entire car, that would look so sweet but be such a bitch if it ever got scratched or screwed with. i would only do that on a purely show car that i didnt drive but damn that would be expensive, but you would win every show u went to, the judges wouldnt even know what to say. im surprised no one has done that yet, prolly cuz of the expense and need to redo the whole thing if it got screwed up at all. yea wouldnt be worth it unless u have unlimited funds, or a custom shop who wants to be the first to do it. well yea im talkin to a lady at discount tire direct about the rims, she says shes getting me a great deal, so thats gonna be sweet. as for the other stuff, isnt there someone on the board who lives in japan and can get stuff at good prices? anyway, yea im prolly gonna buy it in pieces and have **** laying around for awhile until i get it all and have it painted/put on. but i dunno, im really torn between this stuff and the engine swap, at this point lookin like im gonna get the rims, do the swap and then do the bodykit/repaint. but that all depends on prices and how things go down. i dont wanna have all show no go, but then again the go is for me, the show is to impress the ladies. if its total sweetness but still at the speed of a gt, they wont care and ill just keep postponing my races, like i do now lol but i do long for turbo.... mmm.. so its a coin toss, i want all of it done sometime before this time next year, but i also want a million dollars and 2 bisexual girlfriends, ya never know, might happen, might not, but until then ill continue my search for hot bisexual girls, i mean work on my car.

Hmmmm....I can feel your position man. It all depends on how much money you have. Also, you have to think about when you paint your car. You want the engine bay to match your exterior, so, you might wanna get the engine pulled and swapped. Then you want to put the body-pieces on at the same time, so you don't waste money on another paint-job. If I were you, I'd buy everything I could, slowly accumulate it all togather in one spot. Save more money, buy everything else you need. Then save more and take it to the shop. Hope it works out.
