I found a ct20b from a 3rd gen 3sgte the only thing is it came from a Caldina and not a celica. Thus the manifolds are shapped diffrently and the exhaust manifold and the trubo are once peice as opposed to the way the manifold and turbo are two peices on the celica

I currently have a ct26 for a celica which has the peice that would bolt on to the exhaust manifold via 4 studs.

my question is will the ct20b shell (the silver part) and its shaft with turbine blades fit into/replace the shell and shaft i have for my ct26

So, your asking if its possible to fit the CT20B compressor and wheels/shaft into a CT26 Exhaust housing?

Thinking while typing.....
The CT26 on the 7MGTE will fit a CT20B turbine without modification.
The CT26 housing from the 3SGTE needs to be remachined to fit the larger 7M's CT26 turbine.
So, by standard deduction, you would need to remachine the 3S CT26 housing to fit the CT20b turbine!

Keep in mind though, a lot of people swap the CT26's steel turbine into the ct20b for better reliablity - the ct20b uses a ceramic wheel which doesn't hold up as well. So the best combination would be using the CT26 exhaust housing/ turbine mated with with the CT20B's compressor housing / wheel.

Not sure what the end result will be. The larger compressor will surely give you some more air, but the ct26 exhaust side will probably keep you to the same limits as before.
