Hello all,
I want to lighten my front a bit - was thinking of doing this with a fiberglass hood or something. I want to be able to paint it later (so no carbon fiber right?). Before I spend the $$$ though - anyone notice a difference with a lighter hood, or would my money be better spent elsewhere? ~J~ |

I don't really care if it's real CF or Fiberglass - as long as it's a significant weight reduction, and it looks good painted. |

i switched my fenders to fiberglass, and they were somewhat lighter. Not anything noticable though. so my guess is the smae things would apply for the hood, but fiberglass would be good.

(over 1000 for hood alone) as far as will you notice a diffrence na, you would actually have to do a bigger weight reduction than just ligten your hood. Of course techinally there would be a difference but you prob wouldnt notice it. i think if you already have the gt4 hood (if thatz what type of cf hood you looking for) then stay with it. spend the money on something else cause the lighter hood is not worth swapping a stock gt4 hood. unless your going all out on a weight reduction. but thatz my opinoin -------------------- I gotz 2 things my celi and a dream, the prob is commin up with the thrid one...
