Has anyone thought about doing this to the hatch? Im debating whether it will be worth it.
Theres a custom shop here that does alot of different things.

Im know this has been a topic before i think novakx17 posted a long time ago about it(use the search option. its a hell of alot more work than a shop would do imo. its something a person with alot of skill, passion, and time (.... or loads of dispensable cash) would need to do

No problem. smile.gif I'd love to see it done but it doesn't seem like an easy job. I think it looks better on cars with less roof than ours (Supra, Corvette, even the custom Targa 350Z') but one can still hope to see it done to a Celica.

rather than a targa top how about a full roof sunroof leaving all the rails for the hatch and windows and cutting out the entire roof from there, sorta like how its done on the tesla s..... i can see having the glass made being expensive though

I measured up an SW20 MR2 once to see if the T-bar could be made to fit a Celica roof. Another (possible) option would be to use the Supra Aerotop parts.

Either way, there's gonna be a lot of fabrication involved!!

Lol you would have to do it to a coupe. The roof-line on the hatchback is integral to the body's rigidity.
