this is what they use most of the time

Peugeot 206 4 dr.

1.8L engine producing 125hp

or they use a Renault Cilo

1.3L engine producing 96HP (most traffic cops)

or a Renault Megane

2.0L producing 135HP.

They are all tiny lil cars. Factory the Megane (fastest of the bunch) hits 190km/h only. Subies regular WRX's can hit 240 KM/H

In the UK our police have had subaru's for years, they used to have escort RS Cosworths too which looked awesome with all the stickers and lights on, they also have Evo's now too as do some of the Paramedics. The main cars they use are Volvo T5's, Audi RS4's, Subaru's and Vauxhall Omega's (3.2 V6 RWD)

no car has been mass produced solely for police cars more than the crown victoria interceptors. they may not be lambo popo's but i sweat when i see them in my rear view mirror. plus they look alot better than those toy car looking ones from other countries.

Here in greece cops drives either opel vectras or citroens
but there is a special unit called and i'm not joking the A team
the lucky cops drive porches ferraris evos and mercs
This guy i knew who drove a tt quattro was driving on the national car pushing 130mph and this porsche drives up next to him so he thinks they want to race a few sec later he see a blue and hears a siren after a 250euro penalty for speeding on the national road

here the cops drive Crown vics 95% of the time. Then we have other cops driving indrepids, Magnums, undercover unmarked minivans, and for the parking cops, they drive 4 door cavaliers or VW betels. Oh, and also the Toronto Police force has a souped up 2001 or 2002 Civic SIR hatchback they use for busting street racers..lol

Around here they have unmarked Impalas, Intrepids, Crown Vic's, and some SUV's.

The WRX isn't a new thing. Washington has highway police in unmarked WRX's and other vehicles of the sort.

hey valo in toronto do they use the same police vans as in montreal never really see cops when im up in toronto.

its more in sauga they use the vans for pullin ppl over. in toronto they use vans for parkin partole and prison services. But out in Missisuaga and Oakville, tons of under cover vans. They use mostly Astros, Caravans and they also have 1 completely gutted, limo tinted Montana they use for persuit.

Today i saw a seminole cop in a magnum with 20's on it, also we have highway partol riding camaros.
