$0 for performance upgrades
$0 for exterior stuff

total spent? $9500 for the car.

add in maintenance cost over the years, 2 $250 deductables, and I guess I've spent I dunno, maybe $11,000 total? I bought the car with 56,000 miles on it 5 years ago.

it's not worth it to me to mod it. 99% of the time, money you spend on modifying a car you will never, ever see again. i wouldn't mind a gt-four front end and all that jazz, but spending 1/5th of what the car costs on a hood, bumper and paint just doesn't seem worth it to me.

instead of performance, i bought a 2003 GSXR-600. that's $65 a month for the payments, and it can blow the doors off of anything that can't run 11 second quarter miles. thumbsup.gif

Ive spent about $20,000 in the last 18months not including the purchase of the car or the $400 a month on fuel, the only labour being about $900 for mapping, all the rest was on parts. Im a loooong way off being finished yet though, seems kinda silly doesnt it..... laugh.gif

bought the car for $4500 in...June? Can't remember...someone go find my first post, lol...

since then,

$600 for parts and labor to get it serviced and tuned up (desperately needed)
$300 for a Viper 2-way paging alarm system and installation
$30 to get my nickname vinyled on the back glass
$10 to have a place tell me that I need to pull my chassis out 4 degrees by the front passenger wheel in order to properly align my wheels >_<
$400 is about to get dropped to re-upholster the seats in leather (waiting for a new driver seat...hmmm...)
nada for the amp and 12's (someone owed me a favor)

...and I still need to find a new steering wheel...that looks good...and has a horn...and works....lol

so far, then, I've spent $1340 in my first two or three months of ownership...not bad since that's almost exactly what I sold my other car for, lol.

Not including the cost of the car, Ive spent about £8.000 (US$14,500) which is mostly on restoring the car to how it should be...and on mods of course.
