i have coilovers on my stock shocks now and its terrible, so i heard that kyb gr-2's are good, but that they are just like the stock one's only...new. So about the koni yellows. someone explain why they are so expensive and why they are so good for lowerd cars. and if you have them tell me what you think of the ride they give you.

They are so expensive because they are high performance, adjustable shocks that can be adjusted to be as stiff as you want. That's why they're good for lowered cars. People who have them say that the ride is fairly rough even at the soft setting, but the handling is very, very good. smile.gif

the konis are shocks. they install inside your car's existing strut housing.

but anyway, what coomer said is correct. they are fairly rough but better than my previous shocks @ 100k miles. also I read they are so effective because it doesn't matter how low the car is, they dampen the same way. don't really know the mechanics of it, but they handle great, thats pretty much the gist of it.

I got koni yellows and my car is dropped really low. Full drop with ground control coilovers. The ride is rough, but handles great.
