i wanna know what sub boxes are the best, what do you guys think are the best?
bandpass, ported or sealed, pros and cons please -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

It depends on what sub you get and what sort of music

http://www.bcae1.com/ this site kinda explains it, and based on the info i plan on just doing a sealed box. B/c i want trunk space, a small box is needed, which means bandpass and ported are pretty much outa the question.

do any of u guys have alpine type-r subs. i have 2 of them with 2 power acoustik 1000w amps. i had them in a ported q-logic box and they didnt sound that good so i bought a sealed q-logic and now they slam very hard. so i think sealed is definatly the way to go for the type-r..

type-r subs are designed to go in a sealed box..... 0.7 - 1.0cf
