I had a bit of an accident with my 2 front tires and need new ones. The tires are 215/35/18 Nankang NS2. So now I only have the rear tires with an okay amount of tread left. I can get either brand tire for $80 each. My question is, which tire is better? In terms of brand, quality, durability, etc. I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Nexens just to give them a shot since I'd rather have equal tread all around. So I either buy 2 Nankang tires or 4 Nexen tires. I'm not about to put 2 Nexens up front. I like consistency. I want to know what your thoughts are on both brand tires. Thanks.

This is an old thread but Nankangs are ok. The sidewalls tend to open up on some tires. They did rank like #4 in a drift competition performance ranking.

Toyos...i stay away from lesser known tires. Ive only run Falkens and Toyos on my car for summer tires and Perelli's for winter. I say if you need tires, spend the extra $ and get somethin that will last.
