i'm sure you all have seen the bel air couches right? well i have been thinking about making a end table/accent table our of a cameshaft, flywheel for the top(with rubber bumpers and a round piece of glass on top), and 3 rods & pistons for the legs/feet.
also thought about a coffee table with cams for the legs and some square tube to connect them. wall shelf - take two pistons/rods mount the the rods to the wall to where the pistons are level and put a piece of glass on top...and SHELF thoughts, questions, comments? i am working on the 1st table right now here's a couple of links to some mean lookin tables http://www.genuinehotrod.com/PartDetail.asp?PartId=5920 http://www.neatorama.com/2006/03/02/engine...k-coffee-table/ This post has been edited by b1gr3d: Apr 10, 2006 - 9:58 PM -------------------- Coming in 2010 full paintjob - new wheels - modified body - new interior - engine build- marriage |
