Yeah so i got them from tirerack.com for $99 a piece, when they originally went for $238. Close out rims. Cost me a total of $447, with shipping, no tires as of yet. (make suggestions) Here is a pic of them.

http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/mill...t3_cg_ci3_l.jpg i got them in that color.

(More pics when i get them mounted, and then on the car.)

(kinda having an oil leak issue, so maybe ordering rims at this time was a rash decision, but oh well.)

edit: also ordered sportline lowering springs, and the camber adjustments for both front and back.

If you want a good warranty on your tires... search around for the cheapest cheapest price you could find online for tires, print it out, and price match with America's Tires Co. They have great warranty on tires, no worry about running a nail.

The look alot like those stock 2000+ Celica rims... the ones like snapshotgt has (which look really good) I think these are going to look really nice. You can get tires now-a-days for really cheap.

yeah i like that they look stockish, just there larger, 17" and they are darker....i wanted the "hyber carbon" but they sold out. Hyper carbon is dark dark gun metal, almost black. but i am happy.

Any suggestions on performance tires...like companies? or specific tires? (215/40/17 is the tire size i need)

Hey man. I have had the same set of Mille Miglia wheels since 2000 (6 years almost) and they still look like new. Great choice!

You really didnt need that camber kit at all smile.gif

Nice wheels and good width and offset. We just put some 17x8 +35 on my g/f's 96GT and lowered it. She got 215/45/17 tires and i would recommend that size over 215/40... I think 235/40 would clear fine with +35 offset and be perfect on 8in wide rims...

went to a local wheel place, they say that anything larger then 215 on the 8" wheel will rub in front. Can anyone verify?

Im looking at Falkin ZIEX ze 512 in 215/40 or 45/17 i can get them for $116 a piece. Only question is, if i get the 45 will they rub??

Sorry to take this off subject but when would our celica's need a camber kit?

Very nice rims, Can't wait to see them on your ride.

Eibach "highly suggests" ordering 2 camber adjusters when u order there springs. Me not knowing that i wouldnt really need them, ordered them.

Update: Rims, lugs, centercaps, springs, and camber adjusters should be here on Monday! WOOT!

I'm gonna order Falken ZIEX ZE 512 tires on monday, and they should arrive in 2 or 3 days.

Looking at maybe wedneday or friday for install. So excited....i cant wait.

Don't get a 215 tire.....thats pretty narrow for a 17x8 wheel, and unless you have a rediculous drop, which you won't probably have with the springs, you definately aren't going to rub. Trust me.

I would use at least a 225/40/17 or 225/45/17, depending on how thick of a profile tire you want. You could even go with a 235 to really get some meat on those wheels but thats about it, otherwise the tire will bulge out beyond the wheel a little.....but you won't rub just by using a healthy size tire on a relatively wide wheel.

Get the right size tires so you can enjoy the merits of a nice wide wheel like that.
