1. Do they make any type of headlight covers for our cars? (blackouts, etc.)

2. how much would a 5sfe 2.2 liter GT motor go for with low miles?

3. Is there anything i can do to make the system in my convertible hit harder? (as far as angle and the positioning of the box and removle of certain interior peices goes)

4. how complicated is the 3sgte swap into my 5sfe engine bay?

1. yeah black outs, they should be under the parts database
2. depends on the miles......and all that. (really dont know)
3. dynomax acustic padding...or more power.
4. Havnt done it, or seen it in real life, but on a scale of 1-10, 1 being removing a bolt and 10 being trying to reinvent the wheel, its been quoted at a 7

1. i dont know
2. i dont think 1000, but maybe, id say 500 bucks
3. port your back seat (seen it done on my friends old 5 series, worked very well) research before hand though. dynamat the trunk as well, and the most expensive way, obviously, is to run more power to it.
4. if you get the wiring done for you, and have a gt chassis, the swap is barely harder than putting another 5sfe in..

2. Not too much... If its just the engine then close to 500.
3. One thing i noticed with convertibles is when the top is down you lose all bass. I only have one Infinity Kappa Perfect, but i turned mine from facing up to facing my back and its much better.
4. Its not too difficult, check out the swaps section, since you have a Gt the motor mounts and transmission can be used, saving alot of time/money.

I'm thinking about selling my engine and everything with it when I come back from my deployment. I'll be back in October and really want to do a swap. It has 76K on it now with an auto tranny. By the time I get back, it might have 79K on it. Look at my profile for details. It runs great. I don't know if you want to wait that long but if you do, let me know and I'll use that money towards my swap.
