That's with LEDs...really ugly because the light is dispersed differently due to the LEDs. And that's with red type-194 bulbs, which I recommend.

So the bulbs are 194 bulbs and not 194 led for the second pic right? |

Planning to change my cluster to red too but i wanna see how it looks first. Any pics can help. here is my try with red painted bulbs: problem is, that temperature of bulbs is really high and paint I use crozzled so after few days color was more pink than red . So use heat resistant transparent paint is necessity. Then I used common LEDs (like this one bellow) ...gauges looked exactly as Coomers. thats my experience... -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

QUOTE(j0e_p3t @ Apr 11, 2006 - 8:38 PM) will the 5-led matrix ones fit into the cluster? My blue ones did and they worked the best of any LED bulbs out there. Some people that have gotten them recently say that they can't get them through the back so they take the actual gauges out and put them in that way. However, Since there are red bulbs as an option you might as well use them. I only went with LEDs because blue incandescent bulbs look like complete sh!t. -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

So let me get this straight....use 194's red bulbs instead of 194's red leds? Red bulbs turn out better then red leds?
