Ok guys im not a noob to cars but cosmetics isnt my best topic. I have been trying to take off my spoiler today and after 1 hour of no success i have decided i do not want to hurt the car without positively knowing whether i should just pull it off or if there is more to it. Ok so heres what i know (btw i have a stock two post spoiler)...There are four bolts, two on each side of the spoiler, i removed those and tried to remove the spoiler. I got the spoiler lifter up enough to see some sort of adhesive or glue type thing. It almost looks like i have a third hole for that adhesive. I tried to pull but the trunk felt like it was shifting or lifting so i stopped and tried again and again. So am i missing something here???? or what? PLEASE HELP!!!!

i had trouble 2, my is a 3 post. the panel is a snap on. get a small flat screw drive to get your finger in the space between the panel then pull and it should snap off it snaps back on easy.when you unbolt the screws the spoiler gonna hang on by glue. what i did is get fishing string and flossed it or saw it off.it took awhile for the glue to some off. hopes this helps

Well i tried to remove my spolier for a second time today. I began by again removing the bolts and trying to forcefully pull. I thought i was making progress when i heard what i thought to be the glue cracking and coming lose, so i kept pulling. To my suprise i looked under the spoiler and it was cracked about 4 inches. Heh, i just cant do it. I guess when i get the body kit i will get the spoiler removed. Thanks for the support guys.

The third hole that you are talking about is a locating pin if I remember rightly. Mine was bonded on aswell but I don't think it was as well done as yours sounds.
pandakids fishing wire sounds like a decent idea for you, mine came away fairly easily so I didn't really need to pull it too hard. |

I Pulled off the panels inside, undid the 10mm bolts, and yanked, the wing broke but it isnt worth jack being a 3post anyways.
