hey guys, i was wondering, i have the stock 3sgte intake and right now my battery barely fits with the intake and the intake is bent/wedged up against the battery kind of at like a 45 degree angle, i really dont like all that pressure.

the only non stock intake i remember is bboys, i hope you post bboy haha, im not sure how yours works since i tried to put a 90 degree intercooler bend on it and it was smaller than the turbo intake port, what is the size of that, 3"?

anyways guys, post what you have done or what you have seen, i guess the other option is relocating the battery to the trunk but i dont know that i wanna do that.

thanks

here u go

IPB Image

i just used a 90 degree bend, and yah u need a 3" to (whatever piping size ur using)" silicone reducer for both the turbo side and the afm side. for the filter just grab a 3" adapter plate and use an aftermarket cone filter.

bboy

Nice, but I wonder - when I have put Short Ram in exactly the same place in my GT it was sucking hot air from the engine bay and was no improvement at all, even worse than stock. Does yours work better than original intake in terms of torque? On the other hand - I want such IC cover!!! Where can I get one?
