you can also use a hand saw to saw off the edges as much as possible. then round off the edges ...it works...and its much safer...just make sure u dont put to much friction on it.

did you use an allen wrench while removing the link?
cause that sounds like you just tried to use a wrench only |

Dew Hoe. are you talking about a type of thing to put on the bottom part of the coilovers that goes inbetween that and the holder of the strut? If so what all could i use for a washer?
Does anyone know where i can get more set screws? I'm missing 6 of them. I would also like to know where i can get the rubber washer type things that set on the strut housing. This post has been edited by celiracer: May 7, 2006 - 7:48 PM -------------------- ![]() |

Do you have any pics showing where them spacer things go? do they go inside the sleeve? or just set ontop of them? Also are they just like rubber o-rings?

theres suppose to be o rings which replaces the "washers"...but some applications doesnt need it..this is jus a safety precaution n to reduce teh chances the coilovers bangin against the shock body....hope this helps

when i was looking on the aerospeed website there installation guide is way different then our how-to. It shows them o'rings but doesn't say anything about installing them? And i have no idea how big the o'rings have to be and where they go on the installation.
