This is pretty much how I am going to make mine. I have the same muffler.
The only thing I am wondering is once I put the engine and started up, how am I going to get it to the muffler shop. It would be too damn loud.
would the car even run?

3in aluminized steal mandrel bent piping

Looks pretty good. Needs some ceramic coating before the salt hits the roads.

edit. I see this is old. Did you get it ceramic coated?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

My mild steel exhaust rusted out in two winters. Then, I went stainless.

naw, you can get a least 4-5yrs out of them. a lot of it depends on where you live and how often it snows. i already went through one winter with mine, and i really doubt it will rust to all hell in the next 2-3months, when it has zero rust on it now.

I am not debating - just reporting my experience.
