Hm im experiencing with my celica. i've done some LED circles with my stock tails and turn out good. i've tried making clear tails and clear fronts and turned out okay. now my next project is a supra wide bodykit. im wondering if this will fit? i know there will be needed some cutting or what not but i think its worth a try since i just got myself a 96 convertible. thank you very much.

um well i can tell you that it probably wont fit without a TON of modification. theres one guy out in some small place outside of the US who did some kinda wide body kit... I can tell you that the front half of the supra is much longer then the front half of the celica. Also i think the supra is wider? If your planning on cutting it up and what not, it doesnt really matter if it will fit. Have lots of fiberglass ready. Dont quote me on any of this, im just talking based on what ive kinda learned.

Search for "widebody" and see what comes up...

I'd say you're looking at a complete cut, pro bodywork, and lots of fiberglass.

i think with the amount of work you have to put into to cut it all up and then patch them up again .... its much easier to just start from scratch and mold it..

No, but you would want to get some wheel spacers and different offset wheels to give you either flush with the widebody, or a deep dish look.

Don't say it can't be done! tongue.gif Someone in New Zealand put a Honda Civic widebody on a Mitsubishi Evo II. Although it was done by professionals who do that kind of thing all the time...but it came out really good. Of course they had to lengthen it and add bits in etc but that's to be expected.

If you have the cash and don't mind a bit of downtime on you Celica, I say go for it! It will look awesome and will be one of a kind...I like that wink.gif

that THAI celica widebody was not a supra kit...

it did however use supra pieces in his kit...and infact the car is actually NOT wider then a stock celica...if you look he just did the fenders a little funny kind of hard to explain but if you look around your wheel there is about a 1" flat lip going around the wheel wells then the fenders curve....he extended this "lip" up to be around 2" it looks or so then reshaped the top of the fender giving it a wider look.....so the tops i guess you can say are wider but in general its the same width
