LOL, i think i remember that article. Wasnt it in turbo or something? I think in the end they decided to cut off the roof to help with weight reduction plus, what chicks dont dig a convertible? LoL, couldnt make much love in it tho, if i recall it was basically 4 wheels, an engine and a little bit of frame n such. -------------------- AIM : FAQdaWorld

Weight Reduction....hmmmm......remove Spare tire, bumper reinforcements, and seats. Convert to CF hood, CF trunk, CF fenders, CF doors, and remove all glass replace with lexan glass! Pretty much of what you can do so far

wow CF doors would be so expensive, some of that stuff would cost as much if not more than just doing a turbo and fighting weight the other way. I know the CRX weighs like 1900lbs or something, so what imports are between that and 2400lbs like our cars, well STs. It seems like our cars are some of the lightest imports out there, am I right? What about suspension components? Are there any lightweight alternatives for us?
