i got quoted 150 but it was the wrong one it had abs and i don't have abs. it won't work i tried. so i went searching again and found the right one for 250. it's literally a 10 minute job really easy. easy as changing your oil. you just need a 5" extension, socket, and a ratchet.

You need a press, and its not worth doing unless you hav ALL the tools needed.. you can however take off the hub and take it to a shop, most will do it for around $60-$80

Wheel bearing removal isn't too hard on the non-Abs models.

You take off everything from the knuckles including the pillow ball joint.
1.)Then you take off the outer inner seal.
2.)You then have to take out the little snap ring inside the wheel bearing from the drive axel side.
3.) Using a round piece of metal the size of the hub place it on the drive axel side right up to the hub, and tap down on the metal untill the hub falls out. (work on a good corner of a table so that the hub doesn't fall and hit your feet)
4.)The hub should fall out and your left with the inner oil seal and wheel bearing inside. Now get that seal off!
5.) Now tap out the wheel bearing using the same methods to get the hub out.
*** Do not tap the wheel bearing out with the hub cause thats a pain to remove later.***
6.) Once your wheel bearing is off, put in a new one using the same method to get it out. But now use another round piece of metal to support the other side of it so that it goes in evenly. Keep tapping untill it won't go any further.
7.) Now remove the race from the HUB, its a round piece of metal stuck to the hub. Thats the race. Your hub is the round thing with all the studs. You can tap it out or what not.
8.) inspect the hub, if its worn you MUST replace it or your back to square 1 week later.
9.) Tap in the hub using the same methods to put the wheel bearing back on.
** Your new wheel bearing should have the race, wheelbearing, and what not already on it.***
**If you don't take off the race from the hub you'll run into some problems***

To make things eaiser you can go to the autostore and buy a RACE WHEEL BEARING REMOVAL KIT.
its got all the stuff you need to put in or remove bearings and what not. Very good and cheap only $35, or for me $20 Any questions PM me.

If you guys screw up and need new seals, they are called the OUTER INNER SEAL for the drive axel side, INNER SEAL for the hub side, or just buy a WHEEL BEARING SEAL KIT. The kit is probbaly your best bet and the cheapest route to go, cause its got all the seals needed for the whole wheel. $25 at O'Rileys.

the front is not an assembly like the rear

here is the front (knuckle with spindle mounted)
IPB Image

and here is the backside
IPB Image

for the front you order
1) inner and outter wheel seals
2) bearing

then take your knuckle (or car) to a shop close by have them pull out the old bearing and seals from the knuckle and press the new ones back in..your ready to roll

Is this hub/bearing just for the non-abs?
If it works for the abs-types, how does it compare to the one at 1sttoyotaparts since that one is $200+?

the bearing assembly has nothing to do with abs or non abs....its a universal fit between st/gt/abs/nonabs
although the hub is not included you might have to use the other option on that list that i "think" includes the hub
