Hi,

I've managed to find someone selling a TRD shifter, but it's only that.. no spacers, no metal clips, nothing else. I'm wondering if anyone has extra spacers or one's they're not using. tongue.gif I'm thinking that the spacers for all the short shifters should be fairly universal. However, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Can I use washers instead? If so, how many?

Here you go.

Diameters in inches.

The top also has a chamfer on it. It goes about 1/2 way from the .588 step
to the .356 hole on top surface. Not shown.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I think those are to short. Do you have them on a TRD shifter?

No, I don't - I use my TRD bushings. However, before installing the TRD bushings, I left the stock ones in when I installed my TRD shifter and they worked fine. Therefore, using deductive reasoning, the speed source bushings should work fine on the TRD shifter. If you're up for it, we could bet a beer wink.gif

I can install it for you. Bring it on up to my place and we can have a party with lots of scantily clad females and wet t-shirt contests!

(okay so I made that up, but I can help if you want.)

Were those measurements made from the stock marshmallow bushing or from a genuine trd bushing? Are 4 or 8 items needed per shifter? Because I can't get those numbers to work for me. The way I can get the numbers to work with 4 items is as follows:

option1: 0.200 => 0.02
option2: 0.383 => 0.200 & 0.200 => 0.364 & 0.588 => 0.709

With 8 items per shifter, I still can't get the numbers to work. One solution is:

0.383 => 0.200, 0.200 => 0.182, 0.588 => 0.709

Can someone who has the TRD bushings clarify how many bushings there are and post some measurements please?

Bump. Anyone?

95celgt: it makes the shift firmer, instead of marshmallows providing suspension between shifter and body, the shifter frame is bolted firmly to the body.

The measurments were from a genuine TRD unit, I installed according to Coomers how to, so
I am not sure of the real differences between stock and these. I just happened to have some when this was originally
posted and measured them. Member Death made some at the dimensions shown and afik
they worked fine with the TRD shifter. I think it was death.
