Remote Neons Take a look and tell me what you guys think. Do you think they're worth it? I like the idea of having a keychain remote. But my only concern is, are they bright?!?! Let me know what you think. If anybody else here was thinking about getting them too i guess i could be the guinee pig...i have some money to burn and i wouldnt mind helping you guys out and lettin you know what they're like after i get them on. Thanks for the info! Steve-O

I wouldn't trust that brand if I were you. Too many ebay shady dealers. I can get you the Street Glow Gold Kit for a LOT less than it retails. Just let me know and i'll get him a price quote for you.

If you end up getting some wired neons, and if you have an alarm with an auxilary output, you can always setup your alarm to control your neons with just a spdt relay or two.

I think for the whole setup its in the area of $150 shipped for the gold kit. That ain't bad because i am almost positive it retails for $299.99 + shipping..thats two 48" tubes and two 32" tubes i think (not sure of length) and all the wiring and other **** needed to hook it up. I have them mounted on my car but just havent had the chance to wire them up. Weather has been terrible here , feels like i live in WA.

I have 'em. I'll get you some pics later, i haven't developed the film yet. They look good and other than the drilling was pretty easy to install.

after having them, i find out the cons of this. The remote button really sucks 'cause if u stick it in ur pocket the button will go off and if ur in 40 yards away it will go off. Plus when u start ur car it activate the remote start. but on the other hand its cool to be at taco bell and just hit the button when somebody walks by and they say "Whoa check out that car, nice rims." I enjoy that smile.gif
