So i installed the front pair of springs on my car yesterday and when i went to take a test drive, the car wouldnt move. i put it in gear and looked under the car and the passenger side axle is just spinning. no grinding sound or anything, just spinning.
if it makes any difference, i have a 3s swap with the alltrac axles and i did the "short axle" fix. my only thought is that i pulled the axle out of the wheel hub. any thoughts? the car looks great just sitting there. lol |

yup, definitely sounds like you didn't put both the axles back in the hubs, that's pretty much the ONLY thing that could cause your problem

QUOTE(gtfc115 @ May 5, 2006 - 3:05 PM) ok im home from work and im trying to get this back together, but im having a hard time...do i just need to push the axle back into the hub? put the axle back into the hub, make sure the splines go in, and then put the axle nut back on it. i take it you didn't do your own swap? -------------------- |
