Now i know this will differ from car to car, person to person, but i found this list in one of my magazines. There are two lists one for NA cars and one for Turbo'ed cars. They are basically lists of performances upgrades and the order you should do them in. (but they do state its different for every car)

Here they are:

4. Grounding Kit

6. Underdrive Accessory Pulleys
7. Performance Intake Manifold
8. Larger Throttle Body
9. Higher Lift/ Longer Duration Camshafts
10. Adjustable Cam Gears
11. Fuel/ VTEC Controller (we don't have vtec)
12. Performance Spark Plugs
13. Ignition System Upgrade
14. Lightened Flywheel

16. High Compression Pistons
17. Stroker Crankshaft
18. Metal Head Gasket
19. Individual Throttle Bodies (ITBs)
20. Turbo Kit
21. Nitrous-Oxide System

(order can change based on vehicle)

3. High-Flow Downpipe
4. Grounding Kit

6. Engine Management / Reflash
7. Boost Controller
8. Fuel Pump & Larger Injectors
9. I/C Pipe Kit
10. Intercooler
11. Underdrive Accessory Pulleys
12. "Sport" Turbo Upgrade
13. Metal Head Gasket
14. Performance Intake Manifold
15. Larger Throttle Body
16. Higher Lift/ Longer Duration Camshafts
17. Adjustable Cam Gears
18. Tubular Exhaust Manifold
19. Performance Spark Plugs
20. Ignition System Upgrade
21. Lightened Flywheel

What do you guys think of that? might be a good tech article, IF we tweak it to fit the engines we run. 5sfe, 5sfte, 3sgte, etc. etc.

Just thought it might be interesting, if anyone has input on how we could change it to fit something like the popular 3sgte swap that would be cool.
