Got my wind shield tinted yesterday. Looks better in person tongue.gif Who else has this done??? And what length did you have them make it? I had them make mine 6" in length since thats the law in WA.

when i got my aftermarket tints done i had a choice to do it for $25, but i didnt go for it, personally i dont like it.

I had some tint material left over when I did my fronts so I did the windscreen strip too.

Hmph, didn't have a choice in my case -- windshield cracked, no untinted windshields available. Not as defined across the bottom as Amy's, and lighter from inside but it sure looks dark from outside.

I don't understand why they make them against the law? If you have your visor down then that protrudes further than your stripe. I have my visor down all the time, is that against the law? NO!!!

You can get bits that join the visors together so that you can block out the sun when it goes into the centre mirror area, so if you have that, plus both visors down ALL the time, then that would obstruct your vision alot more than a stripe that you can see through.

Get it sorted out mr law thinker upper man!! (or ms law thinker upper woman!! )haha

personally don't like it, i just hate the sudden stop from tint at the top. my friend has it in his suburban and i HATE riding with him lookin thru that windshield

I like it , hope to get my front windows done soon too and i'll get a sunstrip done . Does anyone have any problems with the tint on there drivers/passengers side window ? peeling at the top ?

hmmm well I have only had mine a couple of days...so far no problems! I went to the same place that tinted my windows 2 years ago & it job still looks great! So im not too worried
