Just went to a shop yesrerday and this guy who has done
some really good work gave me an estimated price.
Its not very accurate because he doesnt know if theres going
to be ne thing wrong with the kit when he puts it on.
He told me 3,000-3,500. thats the back and front bumper
sideskirts, fenders and wing, and he would be repainting it
white so the paint is matched. That seems a little high for
me anyone know if this is a good deal or should i do something else?

I don't honestly know I'm getting all my dents removed, car re-painted, back sprayer, antenna, and extra holes from spoiler shaved, kit painted and put on. for $3200 but i have to fit it myself. (but the bad thing is i find out you have to remove crash bar for the zyclone front and my bodyshop wont paint my car if its off). but idk i think its an ok estimate.

That seems slightly high, I hope he will be molding the sides and rear! Personally i wouldnt pay 3500 for a body kit and paint. I would rather get a engine swap. But that is just me. Since i got my kit put on for a good price i cant argue.

you just got your kit painted and put on. He's getting his whole car re-painted and i am also. Not just painting the kit and putting it on.

If you're installing all that and repainting, then i think thats a good price. If its just the installation of body kit, then its a rip off

I paid a guy (in his back garage) 700 to mold my kit on and paint only the kit and bottom 1/3rd of the car to match....

it sucks not knowing the right people -- luckily I know a member on here who has connections -- i think you should do the same -- network around and save money --

its terrible when you have to pay full price like the regular community out there

I'm getting my whole car painted, massive hail damage removed, marker lights and rear wiper components shaved, AND fitting a fiberglass front end for around 3000. That's alot of work for 3 grand.

What you want to look at is how much do they charge per hour in labor. My guy charges 40. Others charge 50+
