I'm not sure if it would look good or not... but I know it would keep a lot of sunlight out, and make my car a lot cooler... the Florida sun is so hot frown.gif let me know what you all think... not sure if I should get it or not

I voted yes, but it really depends. So long as it isn't ricey. Like, some kind of huge banner for a performance part you don't have. That would be bad. Stock black or some kind of cool fade would be fine.

I say yes as well. I think it helps alot in the summer. I don't have it on mine...only reason is because my car is green, I don't know if it'll look good on my car. lol frown.gif But, yes...I think you should get it done. Silver right? I'm assuming you'd get it done in your color right?

The black strip rocks the house and black and silver cars. Def go for it.

You get any hassle from the cops though ? We put one on my mates st202 and within a week he was told it was too big for a windscreen . It was 6inch wide but cause the windscreen is kinda small it looks huge i think .

I think it looks fine no matter what color your car is. I got mine done over 2 years ago and no harasment from cops (even tho its 5% all around) but the tinting just blocks the sun, it doesnt make the car cooler at all. If anything, black attracts more heat.

I think it would look good on any color. And cops shouldn't harras you because as long as its above the AS-1 line you can put or do whatever you want. (well in my town) But i've been thinking about doing that and getting rid of my celica Banner.

But definatly has to be as dark as possible. Even a black sticker all the way across would look good.

Could also use a banner sticker and have it the same color of your car. Thats what i'm thinking about doing either this or doing a sticker that just goes up there. (but color of car)

Not too dark otherwise traffic lights can be a pain in the neck to see if they've changed when you're waiting

And no I haven't had any probs with the police thankfully, although there is a legal size that the strip can be.
My arguement would be that as long as the sun visors go down further than the strip then it should be ok. I have the visor down all the time anyway so mine is more for external looks rather than anything else.

I think that looks tacky. Plus, you can't see through it like a tint strip. I just think the solid color strip is terrible.

Do you still want it? Like it?

I'm not really sure if they are suppose to fade or be one solid color because I've never seen one.. so..
