hey man, thats not good to hear frown.gif before doing anything like a clay bar treatment, i'd try some of that bug and tar remover they use in some car shops. i know its gotten some bad marks off my car that i never thought i could get off (including after numerous washes and scrubbing etc). I have a mate who owns his own car styling shop that uses some, i can find out the brand if you like off him?

whats clay bar treatment?

Well, it wasnt as hard as we thought.
We used a "cut and polish" compound.
Put some of it on a rag and polished it off by hand.
It works like a treat smile.gif

clay bar is basically a heavy duty cut and polish. works by taking a thin layer of paint off the car, basically removing all light scratches etc. Personally i wouldnt do it unless the car was real bad, but thats just me. and if ive given you the wrong info re clay bar, im sure someone will let us both know smile.gif

I assume this was the guy with the purple 6gc who parks outside my place all the time for church with cruisin plates?
