My mom loves furniture, so I built her an end table. It was only about $30 in materials, but I spent months getting it perfect. It is made out of cherry, ash, and walnut. The finish is a clear polyurathane, just to bring out the natural colors in the wood. It still needs a handle for the drawer, I told her to pick one out that matches the furniture in the room she decides to put it in, and I will install it.

The lamp you see on the table, I made last year. Lathes are a lot of fun to work with.

I got her a gift certificate to the movies and detailed her minivan.

That's some awesome woodwork on that table and lamp, I love to be crafty biggrin.gif
