Hi all, new owner of GT4 ST205. Just taken off a bonded spoiler and i`m trying to put raising blocks on with the original spoiler. The holes in the bootlid match up with the raising blocks but the holes on the top of the raising blocks do not match up with the holes on the bottom of the original spoiler. Can it be this hard. The original spoiler fits onto the boot lid but not onto the raising blocks. What is going on kindasad.gif

Is it a 2 post spoiler?
Where did you buy the raiser block from?

bought both original spoiler and raising blocks from fensport.By 2 post do you mean 2 hole? If so then yes it is.There is no bar half way along that comes down vertically. It just clamps down on both near side and passenger side. I just cannot understand how the rear spoiler can attach to the bootlid but not to the rasing blocks.

U should have two little dimples on each side of the spoiler. There not very big. You have to drill them out. Then them holes will lign up to the raiser blocks. If i can find a picture i'll show you.

Yes i can see the dimples but drilling a hole is the easy part. If there is no thread, how do you attach the blocks to the spoiler mate. The screws wont purchase on anything surely?

i just used two heavy duty screws on each block, i was dubvious aboot how secure it would be but it actually fits on really secure.

So you just turn the screws into an empty hole?

U drill the holes and then you get self tapping screws and some double sided sticky stuff. Then you put the tape on the wing and put it on the blocks. Then you screw in the self tapping screws. It should be secure enough. I think thats how most people do it?

The raising blocks come with a fitting kit. I just cannot see how the screws will purchase but will give it a try.
