Ive always wanted to build one, down at toyota performance they had one with a 2nd gen 3sgte. We all went for the test crusie, he pulled up next to a mustang, they rev'd, he lit up all 4 and the mustang backed down one of my greatest memories.

I don't suppose there are any pictures of how you got the brakes on the car? I'm doing the same swap in my car (I even have the brakes and rear subframe/diff/hubs) but I wasn't planning on using the brakes because of all the custom work needed (at least on the fronts). If you guys figured out an easy way to do it, I'd be all for getting the nice brakes on there, rather than the simple V6 disks all around I'm currently running.
-Charlie PS. Ok, not the SAME swap - I'm only doing 2WD with and E153+LSD for now. If I find an all-trac Camry, I'll be swapping everything over... -------------------- 2003 Subaru WRX Wagon

Thanks for all the comments guys (and promotion from Kenny ) Its nice to have a project car finally come together, not to mention embarass unsuspecting drivers.
fastcelica20: The car came with a 3SFE, so yeah...pretty much a direct swap. Charlie: The holes on the caliper and hub are so close that making a bracket to fit the brakes would be very difficult at best. You can fit the front brakes by having the outside diameter of the disc machined down, and drilling and tapping the holes out to the next largest size bolt available to you. As for the rear brakes, we used the whole ST205 setup (brakes, hubs, axles, diff, and rear subframe) but I'm sure you could figure a way out to use them on your FWD Camry. If anything hold onto them till you find yourself an Alltrac. -Colin |

Congrats on the swap.
The Stock Camries will never die, just rust to death if driven in the snow belt. I'd love to do the swap myself, I have the Camry AT (auto though). I just have work to do on my 92 Celica All-Trac first. I think you spoiled the sleeper look a bit. Should've kept it rusty & dented with maybe blacked out 17" rims. Got a baby seat for the rear ?
